No Kovalev vs Ward In 2016!

Barrera was OK I thought, the guy was #1 IBF (although not actually that good of course).

I'm optimistic it'll happen this year. He's supposedly scheduled for July, that leaves plenty of time for the Ward-Kovalev fight to materialize.

 

Ward had better uphold his part of the agreement or I will personally get a flight to Oakland and punch his spoon faced head in.

 

Fighting within 6 weeks of today? Unless it's on BET, it's not happening. Which, you know, it's Ward... so it could be on BET.

I think HBO wants to showcase his pre-Kovalev fight though and there's no way they are happy with 5 to 7 weeks notice.

Won't be July... so any way you look at it, I don't see how one can be optimistic about it.

 

There's been rumors floating for a few weeks now. What's short notice to us isn't short notice to them. I'm sure every one involved is working on it.

Why does Roc Nation take so long to schedule fights? Kovalev already has one yet no opponent for Ward..

Ward don't want the fight, it's obvious he is stalling and if I'm honest I don't blame him. Kovalev knocks him out and he knows it.
