    Most likely its gonna drag out n wont happen in november. But we can hope n b optimistic cuz we need all the big fights we can get.

    Absolutely agree. Ward only "agreed" to fight Kovalev in order to be relevant and earn a few mil by fighting C and B level opposition. When the time comes to fight, his knee will swell.

    Ward = biggest waste / overrated fighter in boxing.

    He was given a gift against Kessler and what else has he really achieved? Froch was old and stylistically suited son of headbutt. Chad Dawson was past it. He doesn't fight regularly, fight the best or fight where he doesn't own the ref or hometown advantage.

    Not looking good for SOG. Braehmer is a bigger fight for Cleverly :lol:

    It's okaythough , he can draw his face on Bethlehem dioramas and watch Super 6 fights on his Betamax he got off ebay.

    Being that Ward is injury prone I would think that its better for him to fight Koalev sooner before the body deteriorates more down the road. Ward should have shrugged of any ring rust he had. And since he was a big SMW he should be just fine at LHW right now. But Virgil wants more acclimation. There acting like Andre went from 154 to 175 overnight.:tired

    A conspiracy theorist might think Ward was stalling on purpose. Seriously though, EVERY fight Ward has seems to be a friggin battle to get done. This goes WAAAAY back before Roc nation too.

    True. He also has no problem sitting out and not fighting if he doesn't get the money he wants. When Ward signed with Roc Nation had the Kovalev vs Hopkins fight already taken place?

    This is a wild speculation but it could be possible that Ward thought Hopkins would beat Kovalev? Its possible that when Ward signed with Roc Nation fighting Kovalev wasn't even a thought? It only became reality when HBO put the screws to Ward and wouldn't give him a fight deal unless he commit to a Kovalev fight! :huh Hmm.
