he was hunched over when it struck. his stomach was right underneath his belt and he went down like a sack of ****. he faked it :barf
it was a good shot.... the angle of the punch was coming from south of the belt, but it did land dead center on the belt - the slomo caught it well and Vic Drakulich was in a very good position to fully see this punch. Kinda the same scenario of the Anthony Dirrell fight, where an opponent is on the cusp of defeat and goes down claiming a lowblow. But with his fight, the referree was blocked from the shot and the punch was unintentionally very low. But due to the circumstance, the referee gave the benefit of the doubt to the offensive fighter... Note what Emmanuel Steward says affirms what Atlas had said earlier, pertaining to the function of the protective cup.... shots cant be fully disabling to a fighter where they cant get up in the count of 10 if it WAS a lowblow. And Steward goes on to say he'd rather have his fighter get a shot in the cup than a solid shot to the lower abdomen....
The first angle as the video starts looks clean. With the second angle is hard to tell. With the third angle it looks low. The evdence is inclusive and you have to go with the ref's call. My opinion is that when you get hit by what you think is an illigal blow that sends you down, and you hear the ref counting you need to try to get up than log your complant. You probbly won't win any argument than but he will start to look for it and call it or at least give a warning the next time.
Thats what I was thinking. Even if it was low, if he wanted to continue he would have got up. Then he had the balls to ask for a rematch:-(
Zab showed a glass heart, he embarrassed himself, that was a good body shot, no low blow, just wanted out of the fight. Roach was right, Judah doesnt like getting hit anymore.
ANOTHER glass hearted American fighter, its getting to the point where im starting to expect this kind of sh*t from US fighters and Im not even joking.
he was seriously outclassed and he knew it. He had no plan B and i think he seriously under-estimated Khan's punching prowess. His reaction speed wasnt good enough and he didnt re-adjust to start blocking.... I think he knew from the start of their last round that he couldnt match up to Khan and lacked the ability and diversity to adjust. Loser attitude to find any reason to cop out of a fight you're obviously being outclassed in... I guess Khan has proven to be a Top Elite if Judah's considered a "gatekeeper"...
This is what I dont like about the whole pacquiao camp. They purposefully go after fights that they know they can win. Its all about the money money money...
