The shot was below the belly button, but not at the balls. He quit.

Boxing is no tickling match said Ricky Hatton when he was fouled many times by Floyd Mayweather back then. This is the fighting business and guys like Bernard Hopkins who plays the best tricks of the game on the blind side of the referee and even Zab Judah who should have been disqualified and was not for flagrant low body punching against Mayweather should know better, This is the second time Zab appeals for referee intervention after Cotto ( twice and early in the fight). Zab should be done and gets out of the game with no glory whatsoever.

pacquiao's team has put himself in the line so many times more than any other active fighter as far as i can remember. moving up to fight barrera at 126. moving up to fight morales at 130. moving up 2 divisions to fight delahoya. fighting MAB, JMM and EM in a span of 16 months was not testing oneself? getting the fight as a replacement in 2 weeks notice against ledwaba was not testing oneself?

ortiz is an ok fight but we all know floyd picked him because he knows he can beat him after seeing the berto fight and probably the peterson fight. so if you are accusing team pac of fighting guys that they knew that they could win, lots of camp do this and even floyd does it, more regularly.

fair enough, but your wrong about ortiz being an okay fight. im sure floyd is confident he can beat him but its still a tough fight.

It was low, not in the balls low, but it was low. It started at the bottom of the belt line, I wouldn't say it was a legit KD.. also Khan was pretty sneak pulling his head down to land that shot.

    Zab did quit though.

Judah has been fighting like that as long as I can remember. Hit him a little bit and he goes into a shell barely throwing any power shots and when he does its 1 punch at a time.

If you look at pics of Zab without his shirt on and study his abdominal muscle structure you will clearly see where his belly button is located.
I then took at look at pics from last night. Before the fight started you can see his protective cup waist line was positioned right at the same spot with his trunks slightly below, exposing the white guard slightly. But pics during the fight clearly show his trunks had risen up or been adjusted slightly. If you take a look at most pics from the fight in relation to his ab muscle structure you can easily extrapolate that his belly button is just at the apex of the gold triangle inside the letter A on his trunks. So you have to decide for yourself where the shot landed in relation to the top of the gold triangle inside the letter A. I'm not sure I can tell where the shot lands, but I am sure that's where his belly button is located.

Watched it several times... shot lands at the bottom of the Z on his trunks. So I technically think he got hit in the quadrant of his abs just right (2 inches) and just slightly lower (1-2 inches) than his belly button... not in the center... tough call for sure... but either way he was beat up badly...

How Judah,a fighter in the game for that long can say he thought the reff was counting an eight count to give him time for a low blow is just ridiculous.

If the reff had thought it was low,he would have stopped the action with a time out and gave Zab five minutes to recover.

However i do feel the punch could have gone either way.It was inbetween being low imo.Even so,if Zab realy wanted to continue he should have realized what was going on when he heard the reff counting and acted accordingly.

Judah simply found a way out and that simply,,sux!.

    Close, but NOT low.

Yet when Holyfield landed a blow like that on Ruiz (dropped him too) it was ruled low (by Cortez).

It looked a little bit low but it certainly was not a hit in the balls. It was not deliberate and Judah was bent over a bit which made it look a bit worse. It was a KO and Zab knows it,he didnt complain whilst on the floor. He only started moaning when the corner pointed out it looked low.

watch when khan is celebrating. he gets back up to one knee and starts complaining to the referee, then goes back down again
