He wasn't joking he was dead ass serious. Why? Because he knows it would make him more money for an easy payday against conor than it would against any boxer. He was serious as a heart attack and I don't blame him im not a hypocrite like you.. Any boxer in the sport would take a fight with conor.

I mean, Pac just has repeatedly said he wasn't fighting north of 147 again after Margarito.
I mean, it's just documented and he has repeated that same statement through the years and then again recently in a presser for his fight vs Thurman.
I mean it's just common sense for a guy who's frame still fit the135lb division to avoid a MW.

Pac's team are the ones who make all these hypotheticals, I doubt Golovkin even took it seriously. I remember when Roach was talking about Pac fighting Canelo a few years ago.

As for Golovkin going up, why should he? He's not a big MW, it's plain to see. He's probably like Froch and doesn't cut much weight. This might also be why he's been able to stay in the same division this whole time without ''outgrowing it'' (which usually means they can't do a massive weight loss camp or weight cut any more as they age). And he's fought and beat guys that went up to 168lbs anyway, meaning they were bigger than him. Would he have been more ''legit'' if he'd beaten Murray or Cancer-bones at SMW to prove he'd won in two divisions?

 

Gennady should've moved up a division a while ago. He waited for his big payday and he got it twice over. Moving up might extend his career, instead of boiling down to 160. Plus, 168 has some interesting names.

Gennady vs Manny is absurd. No matter who drummed it up.
