[yt]VQzHJMtOyb4[/yt] Interesting enough film, but not quite sure what to make of the premise of Leonard going to meet Duran and the film's conclusion (ultimately Leonard's own conclusions). Seems a bit too obviously slanted towards what SRL thinks, and him relating Duran's alleged "in denial" to his (Ray's) own history of alcoholicism comes across as the kind of self-indulgent stuff we've come to expect from Leonard. That's not to say he's necessarily wrong about Duran, but he doesn't exactly back up what he thinks is self-evident. I see Leonard's version of "No Mas" as just as convenient for himself, as Duran's version is for Duran. But perhaps the film is supposed to leave you thinking exactly that.
