No one is saying Duran was winning the fight when it was stopped but it wasn't a one sided beat down, that's for damn sure.

Have only watched the last 5 or so minutes of this 30 for 30.

Duran makes a statement to Leonard at the very end of the taping that he thought he would get a rematch soon after that fight in New Orleans but that Leaonard chose to wait 10 years to give him one.
Duran asked Leonard why?

The response by Leonard is the reason alot of people hate the ****wit with a passion.
Leonards response was "It was psychological warfare, and he made Duran wait 10 years because he could!"

****you Ray Leonard! He made Hearns wait just as long and was about to do Hagler the same way when Hagler wanted an immediate rematch and Leonard refused.

Leonard did'nt get his way against Hagler at the end.
Needing money, Leonard a few years after Hagler tried to set up a rematch by making rumblings in the media that he was willing now to grant Hagler one.

Hagler in essence told Leonard to go **** himself by simply just ignoring Leonards ramblings.


Making a fighter wait 10 years for a rematch is psychological warfare?

Think Leaonard was a great fighter, but I have zero respect for him as a man, a human being.
