Well there is no question Ward and Bute's resume's do not even come close to what Carl has done in the division.

My heart says yes, my mind says no. Ward gave a one-sided beating to Kessler who is clearly better than Froch.

I have it now (without Kessler and Taylor)

    1. Ward
    2. Froch
    3. Bute
    4. Dirrell
    5. Johnson
    6. Abraham
    7. Bika
    8. Stieglitz
    9. Sartison
    10. Andrade

You have to beat the man to be the man right? And if I remember well the guy at the top was Kessler who was beaten by Ward. Then u have to beat Ward to become the kingpin of the division.

The level of competition Froch has sustained up to now while always keeping it close or winning, gives him the edge for me. His resume is taking over the rest right now.

That Ward win was so dirty though, and he should have been dq'd. Now if he had beat Dirrell tonight, which he would have he would be the top.

It's Froch, Ward and Bute. Not sure what the order should be here. Kessler's still a wild card, but he has to show he still "has it."

Agreed. Ward is very overrated. I think Froch will beat him if they fight.

    so lets see

froch has wins over pascal, taylor, dirrell, abraham and had a debatable loss to kessler in kesslers back yard. you americans struggle to rank him in your top20 p4p rankings.

ward has a headbutted win over kessler in joakland and americans rate him by concensus top 8 p4p, many top 5 p4p

its not hard to understand why no one takes america seriously when it comes to boxing anymore.
