...lighter-weight fighter who took the chance of moving up and lifting the lineal MW title. Mayweather and Pacquiao, who both beat Cotto, had shown no incilnation whatsoever of trying to do what Cotto just did.

And that's why this was an ATG win for Cotto... he dared to go were other guys around his weight didn't dare to go!

What do you expect, a fighter that had to put weights in his pockets to reach the minimum weight to fight at middles?

And no, this win isn't an ATG one, not even close. Everyone and their mothers would have beat that Martinez.

In fact, you will never see Cotto being coherent and entering the ring with the real middleweight champion.

That was a fantastic move by Cotto. PPV fight, good money fight and legacy.
This is what Pacquaio should have done. Instead of making a 4th fight with Marquez, he should have challenged Martinez at 160. He already fought a bigger man in Margarito.

Tho Maravilla was ripe for the taking, it was Cottos risk taking that paid off. Agreed.:deal

I give credit to Cotto for having a keen eye

he knew Sergio was done, and ripe for the picking so he took the chance

that been said, anybody could have beaten this pathetic crippled version of Martinez, anybody
