First of all, I want to say hello to everyone on the ESB forum. I have been lurking for years, but rarely ever posted on here. Now, on to my argument.

I have come to the conclusion that no matter what Floyd does, it will never be good enough for people. I mean, the ****'s ridiculous. Now, they are calling the dude a coward on ESPN? People haven't even heard his side of the story, and the dude's a coward?

Why did Bob Arum try to set a deadline for Floyd to sign on? When is the Pacman camp going to realize they THEY are not in the driver's seat in terms of negotiations? If Floyd consistently has higher PPV sales than Pacquaio, no matter who he fights, then how in the hell can Arum dictate anything?

It just seems like this man will NEVER get his just due from people. No matter who he beats, people want him to fight some damn body else; basically, until his black ass loses. People said he was running from Shane, so he fights and whoops Shane's ass, and now Shane is old, over the hill, blah, blah, blah.

People seem to forget that this is the same Shane that whooped Margarito's ass. The same Margarito that beat Sergio Martinez, Cotto, Clottey, and Cintron. He also almost had Floyd out of there early in the fight. Floyd just adapted and outboxed Shane. Period. Shane was not old, not over the hill--well, maybe a little--or any of that. Not to mention, he had brother Nasim Richardson in his corner; who I consider to be one of the best trainers in the game right now.

Floyd beat Shane simply because Floyd is that damn good. I bet you all the Shane that fought Floyd would have knocked Paquaio's ass out. He is simply too strong for Pac, in my personal opinion. Paquaio's come forward first style would be tailor-made for Shane. He would NOT knock Shane out. I have never seen Shane KO'd. He has one of the best chins in boxing.

The point I am trying to make is Floyd Jr. is being affected by what I call the UBAS--Unbeatable Black Athelete Syndrome. The same **** that happened to Roy Jones Jr., Jack Johnson, etc. People hate seeing a black man that damn good who has NOT been humbled. People hate seeing a black man that confident. So they keep issuing challenges for these types of cats until they get their ass beat. Then, everybody feels sorry for them, and looks down their nose at them.

Look at Roy Jones? People hated on him then just like they are hating on Floyd NOW. Why? Because he was too damn good. So good, in fact, that people didn't have any choice but to hate. So what does he do? In his effort to please the fans, he gets his ass beat by a fighter he had absolutely no business losing to. Now, everybody feels sorry for his ass, people want him to quit, etc. People want to see the same thing happened to Floyd--especially non-blacks. It's strange I don't see the same **** being said about Slappy Joe.

I also see that people are slowly starting to hate on Andre Ward too; I guess they can see another great in the making, so they are already starting to tear the man down already. It never ends.

It wouldn't matter if Floyd beat Pac, then they'd want him to fight Paul "who has entirely no business being at welterweight" Williams and ****. If he beats Williams, then, they'd want him to beat Sergio Martinez, or Kelly Pavlik. The **** is ridiculous. Hell, if he beats all of them, they'd want Floyd to race horses like Jesse Owens did in 1927 and ****.

I'm sick of seeing people hate on this dude. If he was another nationality, they'd be singing his praises; just like Slappy "I fought an old Roy Jones, and Hopkins" Joe--and I don't think Joe Calzaghe would beat Andre Ward; honestly.

    Let's just keep it real.

I can tell you have been lurking for years, that was one looong post.

It's the same with every top athlete, they all have their detractors...it just seems Mayweather has more.

I disagree with the 'if he beats Pac...people will want him to beat...etc'. If he beats Pacquiao, he will get a great deal of praise, and rightly so.

Also, I agree that people should not be calling him a coward openly in the media...I doubt they would try that shite to his face, especially with his steriod filled body guards surrounding him.

He's stepped in the ring throughout his life...the guy isn't a coward, so it's uncalled for...whether you want to see Mayweather v Pacquiao happen isn't reason enough.

Unfortunate some people do hate base on that. Ask them for reasons and hear what comes out their mouths. We cant deny that fact, but for some its just their opinions based on other issues,

I wasn't trying to really bring race into the stuff at all. But I find it to be a little ridiculous at the amount of hate Floyd is always getting. No matter what the dude does, he is being called a coward, chicken, all types of ****. No matter who he fights, people just want him to fight someone else to further prove himself; and people discredit the people that he DOES beat.

He destroys Juan Manuel Marquez, and kept Marquez's connect ratio damn near in the low 20's--and Marquez is one of the most accurate punchers in the game--the very same Marquez that went life and death with Pac, now Marquez is too small, he was overmatched, blah, blah, ****ing blah.

He then fights Shane, who was believed to be stronger than him, and the biggest threat he has ever faced, and the minute he beats his ass, now Shane is too old, past his prime, shot, and all types of other bull****.

But people don't have **** to say about Pac fighting a weight-drained De La Hoya, a spirit-broken Ricky Hatton, and a damaged Cotto. He is always getting props out the ass for whoever he fights.

    It makes you wonder.

If Pacquaio's style isn't a come forward style of fighting, then I don't know what is. He just bobs and weaves as he does it. Pacman's secret to winning is that he is a swarmer.

The dude punches like a damn typhoon. He just overwhelms his opponents. I will tell you this much, if he brings that come forward style of fighting against PBF, he is going to be countered with straight rights all night long.
