the guy has serious skills, and i dont honestly think pacman can beat him, he is so hard to hit its unreal and after missing a few shots manny becomes very open to the counter. not to mention the fact he is a lot bigger aswell. im not showing pac any hate as i rate him highly and what he done to hatton, de la hoya was amazing (coming from a hatton fan) i dont think at the moment there is any one to beat floyd i think sugar shane gives him the hardest nights work and would love to see that fight. if pac is to stand a chance freddies gotta do some serious homework
Floyd has amazing skills, he has the best defense in boxing, the way he keep one hand across his chest to defend body punches, and the other head high with the faint makes it almost impossible to tag him. He has good offense and is probablly the best counter puncher, when he fights orthodox his jab is deadly because its as good as a left hook, because he keeps his right hand across his face his angles are confusing and his guard is tight. He can fight orthodox and south paw, in my opinion he is the best fighter in the 21st Century, i am not saying he has a better resume than Pac, but he is a better boxer than Pac.
hmm says... I agree... skill-wise, PBF is a touch nut to crack in terms of defense. I expect a very tough fight. I believe Pac already has all the tools and I think it's not about skills in general, but what kind of gameplan they utilize. I won't be surprised if Pac pulls another upset. However, I'm not overlooking JMM at the moment. I give him a chance, but I worry about his damn chin.
I feel the same way boys. I just don't see Pac beating Floyd, no way. Pac is a great fighter and damn fun to watch, but, floyd's shell is one he won't crack. He has better chance against Cotto than Floyd, and I don't even think he has a very good chance to beat Cotto either. The man is too strong for him.
agree, cotto is far far far to big and powerful for pac, he wont hurt him and will get hit far far to hard
your antipac opinion are just the same. just the same even after the demolation of dela hoya and hatton. the same argument that those guys were too strong for pq. did fmj cause dela hoya to surrender? did fmj knocked hatton out within two rds? no! frankly, as of now the logical presumption is, pq is better than fmj. record speaks for itself.
im not antipac i stated at the begining i was not!!!! mayweather is in a differant league to both hatton(although it pains me to say it) and de la hoya. the man is very very hard to hit and is the best counter puncher in the history of the sport. pac doesnt have the greatest defence in the world and will get countered all night long. i like pac and think hes a class fighter but he cannot beat pbf
