No more ducking/protected fighters.

    Do you think we will continue to see more fights between the top boys, with less ducking and protection during the next year.

    It seems to me that the competition from UFC etc has really given boxing a kick up the arse it needed.

    THe top boys seem more willing to fight each other, which has made for a fantastic year, with some great fights to come hopefully.

    I think one of the worst things about modern boxing is the emphasis placed on being undefeated. Look at Hagler, losing early in his career was probably the best thing that happened to him. thoughts?

    i think IN floyd's case you will only see him in big fights going forward. After making this kind of money he is not want to go back to making a couple of million for a fight. He will be looking for the names that bring him a big paycheck.

    I hope so, I do think Mayweather picks his opponents though, and I'd be very suprised to see him take Cotto or Williams.

    Margarito most likely next.
