He wanted to unify the belts, and now he has. It's time for him to move up, and put some names on his resume. Why not dare to be great?

Yeah, it's probably not a bad idea to move up now, he never got his chance to prove himself against the #1 guy but it seems like it will never happen now, may as well.

Though if he wants to chase that Saunders belt or just defend his titles that's fine too.

He doesn't have the WBO, but how long do you think it's going to take, to fight for that title? At 34yrs old the clock is ticking on his career. GGG moving up and dominating the top ten super MWs will do wonders on his career, because it's another weight class. Remaining where he's at does nothing for him.

GGG just got rewarded for being a real sportsman and following rules. You can't beat those who hide from you.

He should fight for the title not have it just handed to him. I guess folks support corrupt rules when it suits them.

Shhh!!! Triple B side fans won't like that. They would much rather him stay at 160 forever and fight guys like Wade and Johnson and never dare to be great then they can claim him as the best ever. All the while saying this fighter must do this or do that in order to be great.

He should stay at middleweight just to stop Canelo getting a belt back by fighting Algieri at 155

Does it get more corrupt than when the former WBC champ won and defended the middleweight title in catch weight?!

I bet that GGG rather would of fought Canelo in the RIGHT middleweight weight, which is 160 btw not 155, and won it that way. The former WBC champ gave it away rather than fight GGG, this is some Rid**** Bowe ****, disgrace to boxing!

If it's handed to him voluntarily by a guy who has a choice between fighting him or handing him the belt....that's almost more convincing than knocking the man out. Sun Tzu said that in the Bible or something.
