PBF should not fight Manny at 145 and neither should anyone else ever again.

He proved against Cotto he doesnt need any weight crutch so Roach should cut the Bull**** and stop gameing for any advantages. Manny has proved he doesnt need any.

MANILA, Philippines - Their pay-per-view numbers are not too far apart, and a 50-50 deal should be a good one for Manny Pacquiao and
Freddie Roach, chief trainer of the Filipino boxing superstar, yesterday said while he doubts if the loudmouthed American really wants to fight Pacquiao, the two pound-for-pound champion can make things happen with an even share of the purse. Then the winner of the fight, the three-time Trainer of the Year added, can get a bigger share in the pay-per-view, gate receipts and merchandise sales. Maybe a 60-40 or 55-45 deal in this side of the agreement can work for both fighters.
Pacquiao said last December that if he fights Mayweather, he expects a guaranteed purse of around $25 million or roughly P1.175 billion. That’s only for the guaranteed purse, and if he wins, as Roach wants, then he gets even more on the side.
“I honestly don’t think he wants to fight Pacquiao. I think both fighters know that if they do the fight at 50-50, it’s going to happen. My guy is definitely on board,” Roach said in an article that came out of ***********.com yesterday.
“We definitely want the fight. Mayweather I’m not so sure. I’d like to get 60-40 our way of course. I know that we’re the bigger draw. We’ll try to get as much as we can but at the end of the day

so pac's team giving floyd and GBP all his demands even an equal sharing even if they are the slightly bigger draw. if floyd demands more, i say he is ducking pacquiao.

I meant no one should ever fight at 145 for a welter fight vs Pac ever again

147 or nothing. Pac wants to prove he's the best then fight Floyd at his weight.

The catchweight **** isn't helping Manny, he didn't need it against Cotto, or Oscar, or anyone.

Floyd didn't need it against Marquez.

To me, it's the prinicpal. If you're going hold a WW belt and if you're going to be rated at WW, you can't be asking other Welters to fight you at a catchweight If 2 lbs. is no big deal, then why ask for a catchweight? I can understand why he did it against Cotto, he had not been tested against a legit Welter(Hoya was obviously past it and drained). However, he's now proved he can hurt a true Welter as well as take a true Welter's punch. He doesn't need a catchweight anymore.

The fight is for the welterweight title, right? either guy can come in whatever weight he wants, as long as it's under 147.

forgettabout the catch weight. Pacman looks like a muscle builder at 144, a couple pounds should make no freaking difference.

Oh right, yeah I agree with that, if Pac is fighting in the Welter division his opponents should be able to come in at the limit of 147.
