I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch. I'm sure Angulo will fight differently. After all, it ain't going to be a PPV fight now, is it? Not sure though if Kirkland would grant Angulo a rematch.

    This.
Lets see how he recovers then maybe string together a couple of wins.
If his desire to fight is equal to the no quit attitude he showed tonight, why not? I was literally screaming for him to back up and pick his shots, mix in some body work.

After this loss sinks in we will see what he is made of. Id like to think that once his bruised pride ( and body ) heals he will be fired up for a lil payback.

    Id gladly see that.

Assuming what Anne wolfe and Kirkland said according to the announcers they liked the idea of fighting Angulo because he fights in the grueling grinding style that they like. The first round scare aside she might be inclined to offer a rematch. But it should be safter Angulo earns it with a win or 2.

Heh whatever happened to the old days when peeps would rematch a losS IMMEDIATELY

Angulo probably shouldn't even attempt to fight for six months, he got clobbered. No way should he come right back and fight a guy that beat him like that, he needs low competition to make sure he can still fight on this level. A rematch only makes sense if Angulo comes back strong and gets back into contention after a few fights, until then Kirkland will move on.

IF a rematch happens angulo will need at least 2-3 fights to get back in the groove but i really dont see the point. Kirkland beat him on his home turf in a brutal affair.
