100% agree, I hope he can move on from the Pacquiao fight and go back to his old style.

I think you're right for the most part but he could've picked his spots more. He just became way too reckless when he was hurt. I think he was dead set on proving something to the fans after all the negativity surrounding the Pac fight.

Yeah that's exactly what happened. Mid-range was the danger zone for him. Spot on about the lazy jab too.

Agreed. His performance wasn't alien to the way he usually fights, he just had a more purposeful focus to stay on the inside longer in spots and did so against his own interest.

I dont think he had too much choice....the first rounds he fought his normal Bradley plan...aggression, but got seriously clocked for that...after that he tried to box and got pulled into exchanges by Ruslan.

I hope there was no permanent damage done, these types of fights change fighters and they are not the same no more after

I do think he could've picked his spots better at times, but Ruslan stunning him played a big part in how reckless he was. Tim's natural instinct is to fight back when something like that happens, and sure enough, those were the only times Tim really got wild. He's also got a nasty habit of keeping his head straight up and winding up when he throws his heavier shots, but most guys are too concerned about the workrate to take advantage of it- by and large, Ruslan wasn't.

In the middle of the fight, it was vintage Bradley- smothering him with workrate at range, landing enough meaningful combos on the inside to control the exchanges, and dictating the pace. However, Provodnikov's low workrate in those rounds was also a product of him overexerting himself early on and needing to save energy for late- he'll need to improve his conditioning if there's a rematch.

I don't doubt that Tim had the motivation going in to this fight to make it extra fan-friendly, but my guess is that any concern he had about the fans' feelings went out the door very, very early on once the bell rang

Problem with Bradley boxing like that was, he didn't choose to box like that, he didn't go in there looking to take as many shots as he did. He was drawn in to his opponents bout, it's as simple as that.

He let his emotions get the better of him tonight, should have fought the way he did against Manny.
