Even Mike Tyson didn't KO every single opponent he faced before he lost, he had some UD's in there too, so it's the same with GGG, just because he didn't KO Jacobs doesn't mean he's bad or something, I'm sure there will be more UD's in Golovkin's career to come.

Yeah of course real boxing fan's knows this . I do think the fact Jacobs iz the first man to survive 12 rnds and not get completely slaughtered is definitely playing a major factor in the scorecards that were in his favor.

Of course we know a fighter cannot KO everyone, you dickhead. Last Saturday was not Golovkin first time going the distance, and in those instances no one ever questioned the result. You guys are trying too had to justify that shameful robbery.

By claiming it was a "robbery" shows what you know about boxing.

Can "Earnie Shavers and George Foreman" KO Ali who was KD'd by Henry Cooper Doe or iz that really too much to ask?

golovkin boxed beautifully and showed that he is not just a power puncher but has true elite skills also, so in that sense i am glad the fight went 12 rounds, because golovkin can no longer be accused of just relying on his power...

Triple G is not getting enough respect for this win. He took on the consensus #1 contender. He won, despite being 5 years older and clearly giving up an advantage in height and a big advantage in weight. Jacobs never bothered with the same day weigh in and had Victor Conte in his camp. Which I'm sorry, has to raise a red flag.
Despite this Triple G used excellent footwork and a piston Jab to neutralize his opponent. A huge puncher in Jacobs with 29 kos in 32 wins on his ledger. Great punch technique enabled GGG to pull out a close but clear Win.

Do you think athletes develop during their careers?

Or do they acquire all their skills and experience by plugging into the Matrix. "Look, there's a helicopter can you fly it? Wait...bzzz....I can now"

Maybe Danny is better now than he was then. Personally I try to get better at my job every day, every year, that passes....

    Obvious!

Its like Edwin Valero, he had an insane KO percentage but his best opponent was a C+ or B level fighter...

Once a fighter steps up his KO ratio takes a hit.

Look at most punchers.. Their first 20 fights are usually all by KO, as soon as they start getting matched against better quality opponents their power isn't as devastating. Boxing 101, or for GGGoons this may be advanced boxing 401.

Even the lightest hitting professional boxers score flash knockdowns if they catch someone with a perfect punch right on the button.

Do you even watch the sport?

People seem to forget that Jacobs hits harder than any other middleweight, other than GGG. Lemiuex also has power, but is not 6ft1 with a 73 inch reach.

After seeing Quillin get destroyed by Jacobs in 1 minute, GGG fought an excellent fight.

Saunders doesn't punch anywhere near as hard as Jacobs. He's getting walked down and beat down

George Foreman couldn't KO Peralta, a 180lb who got stopped by much lesser guys.
