    Maybe you can save up some cash and buy a house in his neighborhood. Get some binoculars to peek at him while he's lounging by the pool, drive by his house slowly in an old van with no windows, that sort of thing.

    No, I specifically mentioned that Jordan is NOT in the same class, nor should he be.

    MJ's not the GOAT. He's the GHOST- the Greatest Hype Of Sporting Times.

    He had the entire league bankrolling his image and every ref knew it, protecting him accordingly. You couldn't sneeze on him without getting a call. MJ could kick you in the *******, and they'd give the foul to Bill Wennington. They needed to build him up as the exceptional talent of the era in which MJ entered (that he couldn't beat) got old and retired. Then, he got some titles, just like the NBA wanted. All those built in advantages, and there were titles he still didn't win.

    Floyd didn't have such a luxury of being the Golden Boy of his sport with everything handed to him. Yet, he always won against a stellar resume. Time in, time out. He was more dominant in a sport with a much smaller margin of error. You don't get a "best of 7" in modern boxing.

    So, yes, you're right- they're not in the same class whatsoever. But Floyd would happily invite Mike up to his view from the penthouse. It gets lonely at the top.
