Most fighters come much heavier to the fight. Look at Pacquio, he weighted in at 144 to Barrera.
Floyd is the one who moved to 135, not Freitas. Freitas always said he wanted to fight Floyd, and Floyd avoided him, like he does to top fighters in their primes.
Freitas was not on his prime anymore when fought Corrales and he was with marriage problems, like Chico was when fought Floyd. Even though, Freitas scholled Corrales for 7 rounds before running out of gas. Not even Casamayor or Castillo could scholl Chico when he was not shot.
And Freitas had the balls to unify at 130, something Floyd never did.

 

Who did Floyd beat at 130 to say he beats anyone there? Whilst Floyd had more phyical advantages at 130, he also wasnt as smart a boxer. For example, first Castillo match vs the rematch. You can see now hes very smart and he will look boring if he has to just to win. If Castillo nearly beat him id hate to think what Pryor would have done. The PBF in the heavier weight classes is smarter and IMO more skilled, however doesnt have the physical assets to compete with the likes of Pryor, SRL, Hearns etc.

 

You make a good point however Mosley is much stronger and honestly PBF is'nt much faster. If you wanted we could use the De La Hoya fights with the two as a good comparison. It's a fact that Mosley dominated a more polished DLH twice and that PBF beat a faded DLH and did'nt look impressive doing it either. Ring generalship? He controlled DLH with ease while PBF struggled. Defense? I think both are just as hitable. Both are quick and have an excellent sense of timing and distance. Basically they both don't get him much but as we've seen both have had their moments of poor defense. Ability to adust midfight? Simply not true. Both have struggled at times with this. A better, related quality would be is that they are both fighters that usually dictate the pace as well as the fight itself with excellent footwork and handspeed. I don't think one is anymore ring intelligent than the other. I hope we all see this fight Cheers

Everybody seems to say that Floyd had a field day with DLH but I beg to differ, DLH won 5 rounds and we are talking past his prime DLH. Floyd was scared of DLH punch and Tito punches harder than DLH. Could Floyd avoid Tito for full 12 rounds, I dont think so.

 

Without a shadow of a doubt, Duran, Hearns, Leonard, and about 5 others beat Floyd and I mean destroy him. Even a prime DLH would beat Mayweather and at just about any weight class. Not the DLH that was unable to pull the trigger, but the DLH of 8-9 years ago.
