Molden Boy Productions is a theatrical promotions team. The punches thrown in the ring may be real at times but not much else is. I have said for a long time that Oscard DEE La HOYa is a fake. Why would his promotions be any different. Oscared took a dive with Bornard and now all his promoted fights have to be suspect. Even the weigh in was staged. I hope no one here bought this abortion.
I still think DLH-Hopkins was fixed, people say stuff like...how but if you look really closely it hits him straight in the liver...wtf? landed on his forearm every time I've seen it. Boxing has a long and sordid history of being corrupt and fixed (Seldon-Tyson,anyone?) That being said, this 'fight' (I use that in the loosest of terms) was probably legit and for real.
I'm getting really sick of these pay-per-views... I agree with everything, I don't know about taking a dive, maybe he did, maybe not. All I know is I knew exactly what was going to happen and it did. Fighters just don't FIGHT anymore.
What? It was a decent - good fight....well contested by both men and a good decision. What is the spectacle in that?
yap. and lot of morons will be jumping around and would think it was a masterpiece and they will proclaim that fighter ATG :!::!::!:
I think Winky is a straight up guy but I do think that there are sometimes Gentlemen's Aggreements made. Whether spoken or unspoken. By the looks of that cut. Bornard has a hard head.
your Iq is definitely at the border. 30 do you realize that fight was like watching "winnie the pooh"? you are a ****** claiming it was a masterpiece. that fight is full of holding and ****. get real ******. theres nothing to brag about. please dont be stuuuupiiiid.:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl
The weigh-in fight looked a little funny to me, but I don't think it was necessarily staged. I think it was premeditated at least by Hopkins, but Winky looked genuinely surprised to me. As far as the fight, I hardly believe it was staged. I wanted Winky to win, but it came out like I would have guessed. I don't really understand why so many hated on this one because of their styles. At least give both guys credit for taking on a high-quality opponent. Just because a guy doesn't have knockout power doesn't mean he can't beat you. Oh, and that cut on Winky's eye looks nasty.
The Judging in Golden boy fights has been suspect as hell lately. Steve Forbes BEAT Demetrius Hopkins, easily. Juan Manuel Marquez did NOT beat Barrera by the margins that the judges saw, DLH shouldn't have been able to beat PBF on ANY of the cards, and Winky should have either lost by a point, gotten a draw, or (this what the outcome should have been) been given the fight by one point due to a holding Penalty that Hopkins was told he was going to get after 5 warnings and somehow never got. I think that sums it up.
I agree with the Forbes and Oscar/Floyd fights....but we couldnt have been watching the same fight last night. It was a VERY easy fight to score. I had it 116-112...as did most others...tho I wouldnt argue 115-113...anything else tho is a stretch (including the 117-111). Regardless the correct fighter won....anyone who disagrees either doesnt know **** about boxing, is a Winky fan or hate Hopkins. There is no other alternative. Like I said, this fight was clear and easy to score bro....
