    I like wilder

I dont care much for the bronze bomber persona, that's just media spin. I dont care much for who he fights knowing full well it's not his decision.

He provides entertainment and like the other guy said I'd happily watch him with anyone. It might not be a boxing match but you know it'll be a fight.

To be fair, that's what the heavyweight division is. Usyk, fury, joshua to an extent actually box - everyone else, including dubois, just fight. If I want to see supreme boxing skill I watch middleweight and below.

Cherrypicked him the first time and also only fought him because he believed worst case scenario is he’d lose on points. Wilder avoids punchers. That’s why he wouldn’t fight Joshua or Klitschko.

I don’t see him utilising head movement much.

ATG Power. Big heart, despite a poor chin. He's very patient and can use a pretty good jab when he wants to.

He also has very underrated form in that right, which for the last few years he's thrown perfectly.

Another thing that gets overlooked is tactically he,s actually very good. Hes not just going out there and throwing the right hand like he did in the early days.

Hes setting it up. More about patience nowadays. I dont think people quite realise what hes doing in there sometimes. Uses the jab and footwork well to get guys chasing....from there its only a matter of time before someone walks into the right hand. Fury took that away from him by beating him to the punch....tbf he done it to klitchko as well.

Its not that hes tactically the best out there...but with his skillset his tactics are absolutely spot on. People criticise breland....but hes done great with wilder. Who,s never gonna be the worlds best boxer....brelands got him with a gameplan thats perfect for him.

Not all that long ago there we,re posts up on here saying it was almost impossible to beat wilder without getting him out of there in a couple of rounds with all out offence. Considering there,s so many posts saying how useless he is....they must be doing something right.

    Great power.

    Hilariously quotable.

Showed heart the first time he was out of his depth.

    Legendary excuse maker.

He hits ludicrously hard with his right hand and almost always finds a way to land it.

He always shows up to fights in shape. No half assing it ever.

    He generally fights fairly frequently.

His fights are usually dramatic and he makes it easy to root against him.

Actually, if Wilder was never a champion and never ran his mouth I'd quite like him. He's go an exciting style. He's just not champion material and never should have held the belt for as long as he did.

Without Wilder we all would have missed countless opportunities to take a dig at his ... opponents, ring entrance costumes, excuses, chicken-like legs, persona/big mouth, his brother Marcellos, his antics (like sucker punching a mascot), the Dustin Nichols incident, his arguably undeserved draw against Fury, and so on. Hours of entertainment in all of that.

Now he's going up against the best in the division he's getting some respect, win or lose.
