The other fighters would be negotiating from a position of weakness. There's no way those guys could make that type of payday without Floyd. Therefore, Floyd could dictate all of the terms.

I am not a *******, *****, watever. I am a fan of both fighters. I'm just a normal fan, casual fan if you will who badly wants to see this fight like the rest of the world. I put blame on both fighters at one point. I was pissed at Manny for the fallout on the first negotiations, but you got to blame Mayweather for it not happening now or in the future.

 

The same people said he was "ducking Mosely and would not fight him last year either. SSM agreed and the fight was on.
