FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR: NOT THINKING PACQUIAO DREAM MATCH, BOXING By G. Leon Sources close to former undefeated pound for pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr have informed Boxingtalk.com that despite Manny Pacquiao's sensational stoppage victory over Oscar De La Hoya, the pound for pound Picasso has zero interest in returning to the ring to face the current pound for pound king. "Floyd's not even thinking boxing right now," said our source. It should be interesting to see if the public's interest in the bout and the pocketbooks of powers that be can entice Mayweather to make this dream match a reality. http://boxingtalk.com/pag/article.php?aid=16786
So far this has been reported from Greg Leon, I would honestly take Floyd Mayweather Sr.'s comments more seriously than this as it was also reported by various sources.
I don't. Floyd Sr. is just using his son's famous name to get in the spotlight. Unless Floyd Jr.says it then I would not believe it.
Floyd will come back I bet, Maybe he will do a run-in during Pac's next fight, and hit him with a chair, thinking he is still in wrestling.
Floyd is just trying to up the ante. He will fight Pacquiao, but it will be for a lot more money than anyone else has ever made in a boxing match. That is his goal at least.
