Manny puts the pressure on himself though too. He sees himself as a superstar, theres nothing wrong with that, but being under the microscope comes with all of that. Hes one of the highest paid boxers ever, near flawless performances are to be expected

There is no fanfare from the Pinoys to send Pacquiao off from Los Angeles.

I do hope they show up in the Phillipines to welcome him.

If it were me who was Pinoy and a diehard Pacquiao fan, I'd show up to welcome him home and say to him, "you lost Manny, but we're proud of you and love you anyways."

I hope the Pinoy fans in his home country turn up to welcome him home as an appreciation for all the memorable moments he's brought to them.
No shame in getting outboxed by a master.

Typical mentality, they just cant appreciate what the man did and in the past. They are only supportive when hes winning and hes nobody when he lost.

Not all of them but yeah, bunch of idiots.

What a SHAME .... after all that he's done for this country, they should stick to him through thick or thin. PACMAN won fair and square and he's got nothing to be ashamed of. You can't always KO or KD your opponents but it doesn't mean you lost. If MARQUEZ really thinks he won, he should file a complain so they can have a review, if not, better STFU! :hat

Do you hate Filipinos because of Pacquiao? There's probably a small Filipino population in Georgia.

Mannys cool done alot for his people and the boxing world, but alot of times many who think theyy are untouchable get brought back down to reality. There are many fighters that should, but dont get a quarter of the attention Manny gets. Motorcades and banquets or whatever thats secondary ****. Like Roy Jones once said "When you win, everybody loves you and they win. But when you lose you lose alone."

A bit harsh, he did get the W at the end of the day and gave it 100% what more do they want?

Maybe they're showing contempt towards the entire team? After all, there were excuses publicly made by Team Pac after the decision was announced. You add that with the likely outcome of no Pac-FMJ in May and you are going to get a lot of people in a foul mood. I can see why those things would turn off even the most die hard fans. I understand loyalty is important but all this could be a blessing in disguise. Maybe it'll get Pac to get his **** together - not just inside the ring but outside of it as well - drop the excuses, drop the leeches, and take more control of his career.
