I used to have slow hands and feet, after about 7 months training I developed fast hands, now after about 15 months I'm developing fast feet and stamina. People naturaly have different levels of fast twitch muscle fibre which determines how fast you can get...

But tbh that's not the be all and end all, stamina, strength, timing and most importantly mental strength and technique matter too. I know first hand some trainers are ****s but you might just be taking it to heart 2 much. Some trainers are ****s but some are just tough nuts who will only give you respect if you earn it.

Can you not get yourself a heavbag and hang it up anywhere or something .Also what's your strength and conditioning like ( pull-ups press-ups squats etc ) To develop power you need to punch more and harder as well. Work harder on the bag then a protein shake post workout .Also hand and grip strength

I would defintley recommend you any of the Rosstraining books .If your a beginner there's enough in these 3 to get to
an advanced level of strength and conditioning .Depending on your strength and conditioning levels man if a beginner never gymless

Most important thing i'd say is don't lose heart man .Make a calender for a year .Train all the time .Go on boxing forums everyday and learn as much as you can .Rosstraining strength and conditioning forum is good

This is about the most unprofessional statement based on very poor reasoning from a coach. I wont go into detail about why this is the case, but there is little basis for which he can even qualify his training based on his own statement here. You'll be fine once you find a new coach.

The first time Rocky Marciano was introduced to his coach, his coach watched him box and told him the same thing (pretty much). Rocky Marciano went 49-0-0 in his career beating people like Joe Louis!!!!

I agree with these statements. I actually don't do squats. I do lunges. I feel that they somehow change the muscles in the hips and really make you quicker in your footwork.

A good coach will get you to a level where you don't overthink so much and your body just reacts on instinct though. As said, change coach.

You're obviously not 'thick' either, as it takes a smart man to admit he's stupid

  11. What's the name of the gym? I'm going to send everything to this ****er. Pizzas, kebabs, Indians, taxis. The works.

I've seen bull**** on this forum, but this? First of all you DO NOT put as much power as you can in all your shots .. If your new you will eventually get strong as even better you'll get faster. Don't take me wrong or anything but your coach is ****. New gym

First you gotta get the money,
    then you get the power,
    then you get the woman.
