No question-Morrison has aids.

Whats the deal with Magic Johnson, he in fact doesn't have HIV anymore, at least that is what I have heard.

Morrison on the otherhand does still have it and they let him fight:scaredas:

 

AIDS is a progressed stage caused by HIV...to the point where autoimmune (your body's defense system) is effed up...that is why it is called Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome...Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is just that, a virus that causes AIDS...you can have HIV but not AIDS

 

Morrison was told he pretty much had the full blown AIDs a decade ago. His t-cell count was lower than his shoe size. When his doctor told him he could be dead soon Morrison just laughed at him.

Once you have it, it never goes away as there is NO CURE.

If you have the money for the medicine to keep the HIV repressed than you can live a normal life.

With huge advances in retro-viral drugs over the past decade and a half it's entirely possible for a HIV carrier to live as long as a HIV free person, providing you follow your regimen and stay fit and motivated.

H.I.V stands for Human-Immuno-Deficiency virus or summat similar, and you are considered to have full blown A.I.D.S - Acquired-Immuno-Deficiency-Syndrome when your white blood cell (t-cell) count becomes so low it's almost non-existant.

Because your white blood cells are like the soldiers at the gate, they f*****g eat the infections that would otherwise render us dead meat.

HIV more or less shuts down the white cells and, unless the person gets blood tested, the first he/she will know is when they get sick and their body cannot make them better any longer.

The new drugs keep it in check, and stops your white cell count from getting so low that you get sick. Because of this even if someone has gone dangerously low on a white cell count they can still be brought back to almost normal levels.
