No reason Jacobs can't fight Golovkin next.

    He fought in April, he should be ready to fight Golovkin in August or September, he has gone on record saying he will fight Golovkin also he is the WBA mandatory.

    Not saying he will win but he would give Golovkin a better fight than most middleweights, at least he is a big puncher.

    Thoughts?

    That would be a good fight and one I would like to see. Not saying he would lose either. I would also love to see Andy Lee take on GGG or Jacobs.

    But no offense to Jacobs, he's done good since the last time he fought a Serb. Can't help but get that Ko out of my mind tho, I remember how brutal it was. If he wants GGG, then he's earned his right and must get big praise for his bravery. But yea......

    p.s. Pirog's career really went down the toilet didn't it? And I remember hearing he and GGG were gonna have a massive Big Drama Show in Russia. Wonder what happened:think

    Golovkin vs. Jacobs would just be a painful reminder of the middleweight super fight we never got. :verysad

    Fact is, Danny hasn't been the same since the cancer and the knockout loss to Pirog. Danny looked like ass for 11 rounds against Truax before the KO. I wasn't impressed and he would get beaten up badly against GGG.

    Eubank Jr., if he doesn't lands a Saunders rematch in the meantime?

    I can think of a few others that generate money and wouldn't be leaping a seismic chasm in opposition like Danny would.
