If Roach says Pac, aka the guy that had a disgusting ear against Cotto, says he's okay to fight and Mayweather, aka the guy that didn't even get touched by Marquez, doesn't...

    Who's pullin the ***** move...

I mean, pretend you're an alien from another planet, obviously not the species and you're goal on planet earth is to determine who's pullin the ***** move...

    Go ahead...

Although Pacquiao beat Cotto, it was a physically demanding fight. Pacquiao suffered a broken right ear drum in addition to the cuts and bruises on his face, Roach said.

"May or June, in that ballpark," Roach said about when he thought the fight should happen. "March may be too close to get a big fight like that going. I'd like to see Manny take a rest and then get into it. We'll have a change in sparring partners and style because Mayweather is so different than our last four opponents [Cotto, Ricky Hatton, De La Hoya and David Diaz]. We have to study him really hard. But I know Mayweather really well. I just need Manny to see what I see."

I'll be very happy to see Pac in March. But, with the injuries Pac sustained in the Cotto fight, sounds early. He should do it in April.

joyboys are idiots. they fully well know that pac is running for congress in may and want the fight on that month? pac and his team gives them two alternative dates, march or september but joyboys insist on a date that is impossible for pac and will call pac the ducker? you joyboys are pathetic and has the ability to twist things into your fruitcake's favor. :patsch

I think both sides should give it a rest. Neither fighter is ducking each other. You dont duck 40mil+ payday, simple as that.

I am starting to get annoyed with Pac's negotiation tactics for each big fight actually. Back in the JMM fight it was on and off, everyone wanted pac-jmm 2, for some reason soto, valero, guzman was being thrown around instead as if we cared. Eventually the fight was signed. Same thing happened with Pac-Oscar though it didnt drag for too long. Pac-Hatton was a nightmare, back and forth for weeks over a matter of 1-2% in purse split, ffs. Cotto got done quick although again, so many crap leading up to the fight regarding the catchweight which put the fight at risk. Same thing happening here, just tactics, the fight will happen but listening to negotiations is painful..on..off.on...

I think this fight happens in march. Foreman is blatantly a ploy. Its Arum's way of saying "take the fight or we will just fight Foreman instead". Now I dont think Arum really wants to risk a 100mil+ fight by putting in Foreman in between so its simply a bluff.

just read this part of the quote:

There's still a big chance he fights May 1st. Hopefully he's unopposed....

we all fully know well that pac is set to run even before floyd comes back out of retirement. they are offering two dates. one is march before the campaign period. another is september after the elections. is that ducking by joyboy's standards?

It won't happen until September as March is too soon to promote a super fight. The promoters like to have about 5 months, especially for a fight of this magnitude.

its nice that Pacquiao has post career aspirations after boxing and in life. Can't say the same about Rudtard and Bill "I like to live vicariously through other boxers" Butcher who have no other options than their pathetic lot in life. You two have no right to judge what Pac does in his life. Pac has made all the concessions to get where he's at. If he doesn't fight Floyd, that means Floyd will have to fight someone his own size.

Some people are quick to forget that it was Floyd who came out of retirement near the Hatton/Pac fight. "Just one more day" and hindsight being 20/20 when the fight was pushed back to September. It was a ploy that backfired and made Floyd look even dumber. Considering that JMM didn't put much of a fight in their match. The Pac/Floyd fight could have been all done but alas, he fought a lightweight instead.

And now we are stuck in this negotiations sh*t tactics.
