just purchased the fight this morning, but was told on my TV screen that i will not be able to record the fight. i think i will cancel my purchase (this is on virgin media platform).

how mean is that, from sky? if you buy it for £15 you should be able to do what you want with it. you should be able to eat it, shove it up your arse, or watch the fight a week or two later.

what are the odds that haye will be releasing HAYEMAKER V RUIZ on dvd? perhaps we can watch it for £15 on the night, and in a few months, can have our very own copy for anopther £15.

i felt that haye was great for boxing, i was willing to support a british world heavyweight champ buy buying PPVs, despite the dull manner of victory last time out. but this has gone too far. i've got rid of my sky sports channels and now they're not ever having anymore of my cash, not even for a couple of PPVs per year.

    this really takes the excretion.

You'll still be able to record the fight when they air it free on Thursday, won't you?

    Really? What's your secret?

Every time I've tried to record a SBO event the disc cancels.

    ****ing Box Office.

Yeah,it used to always be on a Thursday, the Valuev fight was the first one ive seen not repeated then.

Just checked..it aint on Thursday. Maybe changed to a Saturday because Valuev and Ruiz are too explosive for thursday nights.

They always repeat these fights later in the week.

Recording from SBO is always hit and miss, I couldn't record Dirrell v AA either and have yet to actually sit down and watch the whole fight again rather than a bunch of rounds at a time.

i've recorded PPV in the past. but it says i can't record the fight. this is te first time i've had a warning on the ordering the fight page.

i don't have sky sports channels any more. i don't have sky plus. i liked to buy the PPVs, just for a big fight.

the fact is, if i can't record onto DVD, this is a damn ripoff. and i'm not supporting this any more.

i wonder if there will even be a replay. i bet there will be a "hayemaker" dvd instead. give david all your money...

You can only record it if you are a sky customer who orders it via the red button. You can't record it if you order it by phone.
