No rehydration clause in the Smith/Canelo fight.

They had already said that for the fight against Kovalev and we had learned the day before that there was one.

 

So Canelo can eat as much Clened-Cow Meat balls endlessly.
He will come in looking like ButterBean

 

This was possibly why Smith claimed he was still unhappy with the terms right until the last minute and didn't know if he'd gotten the fight until he scrolled through Twitter. By the way, that's how manly honourable fighters like Canelo operate, they don't directly inform their champion opponent of the fight, they leave them hanging and make them search online.

Perhaps none of the fighters would accept the hydration terms this time, because they've seen what happened to Fielding and Kovalev. Saunders already said he wouldn't do it after Kovalev and Plant seems like he'd reject that too. Smith is so big that he knows he's going to come unstuck with a hydration limit. So Canelo simply might not have a choice any more. Also, even his scumbag fans can't stop the PR rot if
this hydration cheating keeps happening.

Canelo is basically that worm in Gladiator who stabs Russell Crowe in the backroom before duelling him in a ''fair fight'' in the arena. His fans are the horse**** left over from the chariot battle.
