    War Mosley!!!!

Shane will put on a competitive and entertaining fight. I don't want to hear any excuses from *******s about how Manny was distracted, Shane was on PED's, Pac carried him, or any other conspiracy theories.

I also don't want to hear anything from *****s, plain and simple PBF must fight Pac to claim he is better than him. As this fight will prove, what the experts think isn't always what takes place in the ring.

I also don't want to hear any "Johnny Come Lately" praise from ESB posters come May 8th. I don't want to hear about how you thought there was a good chance the fight would be good, or that you had dream the night before, or that you knew this would be good because of styles.

If You Aren't Backing Shane From the Start, Then Keep Your Praise To Yourself. Team Mosley doesn't need any "Band Wagoners"!

If you are a TRUE Mosley fan, then support Shane, support the thread!

Sign on this thread if you are supporting "Sugar" Shane Mosley because you are a Sugar fan.

Are you betting anything at all on your cousin? He's at +900 for KO.

I think a KO is a bad bet. KO's are NOT that easy to get. Pac is still in his prime though on the tail end of it (Not his prime weight but physical and mental prime), and he is in incredible shape.

So why do you guys think Shane is going to just KO him? You see, I like Naz believe if Shane were to pull off an upset it would be due to him fighting a very smart tactical fight. In which he counters Pac from the outside some, and out fights him in close quarters some. I don't see Shane stopping Pac, but if he does then great, but I really don't see that happening.

The only bet I would advise anyone on taking is the "Over", as I believe Shane can be competitive and go the distance. Can he win? It is very doubtful, but what I believe does NOT matter. It is what Shane believes that matters, he is fighting the fight.

what kind of gambler puts every last penny he has on any bet?

Only an idiot would do that. Besides I didn't know if once I lose it all if you ever can get more in the future. I have never bet using the Vcash, and I wanted to put some on the Froch-Johnson fight too.

    Appreciated!

And Hatesrats if Shane pulls off the upset I got something very special planned for all those that supported Shane from the beginning. So if the unthinkable happens you will be glad you signed the thread.

I was thinking if Shane wins, it can only be by KO. Shane is at the end of his career and not that marketable, so I can totally see them robbing him of a decision if he managed to pull it off.

I'm not too sure about Shane getting the KO though. The reason I want to put a few bux on Shane by KO is because of the odds, BUT I would just be acting on emotion, greed, by doing that. There's no room for emotions when it comes to betting.

I hope your cousin does well. This fight can't hurt his standing, it can only improve it.

    Thanks.

I can't tell another person what to do. But I don't see Shane's chances the way others on this forum do. Everyone is talking about the early KO for Shane. I don't see it. The only person in the fight who can go for an early KO is Pac because he is in great shape and can afford to exert himself.

Shane needs to wear Pac down and at best in my eyes it would be a late KO for Shane.

May 7th will answer all the questions.

Have you ever read this post? It backs what you said and more. manny is the one who gets early KOs and isn't a very good finisher. Shane is actually the late KO'r and can finish. The original poster really did his homework.

No, I haven't read that post before. But it was a pretty good break down. Just to clarify something the poster of the post you quoted said; Shane in prime generally started off as a counter puncher in his fights, while constantly probing if his opponent was getting weaker. That is why it is a natural for Shane to take advantage of that fact against Pac.

He can use his length, and speed, to counter punch, and he will be able to conserve some energy as the fight heats up in the middle rounds.

By keeping distance, countering, and making Pac reach, and going on the attack when there are openings, Shane will reduce Pac's output. He will in effect be dictating pace.

But of course there is always the possibility that Shane is shot, and if you are shot against Pac he will blow you out of the water.

But yes the Omoney poster and I agree on what Shane will attempt to do and what he needs to do. Why these other guys are saying the things they are saying with regard to tactics etc...etc.....I don't really know. I suspect it is that they don't really know much about the sport and kinda just repeat boxing cliches.
