Calzaghe was knocked down and was crap against kabery salem,who took him the distance.....At least henry cooper was better than old kabery hey joe,and ali stopped cooper twice What has old 'kabbie' salem achieved since chinaman?

Calzaghe would have most CERTAINLY beaten SRR at 168lbs.

SRL admits himself in his own book that Joe Calzaghe is the best fighter in the world today, and when him and Michael J Fox watched the Jeff Lacy fight Fox asked him who would have won if they fought and SRL said he wouldnt like to say.

Even Floyd Mayweather has said on more than one occasion before that he rates Calzaghe as one of the handful of fighters who he thinks is World Class, saying he has the best adaptability in boxing.

If Calzaghe was American he would have been PvP1 for years.

I ain't bashing on B-hops, but I am bashing on you, get your facts right, Calzaghe is an active fighter for the full twelve rounds, throwing non stop...
The only one Hopkins "smashed" was small fighters in Tito and DLH.
And for the record, both these guys don't belong in the middlweight division, period. Joe has traded with big supermiddleweights. When Hopkins fought the normal-size middleweight in Jermain Taylor, he lost two pretty clear UD's.

Taylor showed everyone a formula to beat Hopkins, be active, and that's what Joe has been good at, his fast hands and his workrate has kept him in the business for over a decade.. I highly doubt that Hopkins would smash him.
