    On record he looks the bollocks,but oh boy once you saw him fight,did you realise what a ****ing stinker of a fighter he really was,i hated his damn style myself.The robin reid was one of the most disgusting things ive ever seen,i mean if robin even raised his fist to punch him,the ref was in there all over him warning him,what a ****ing joke,no wonder he won so many fights in germany.

    I doubt many Americans got to see many, if any, Ottke fights.

    He was quite often featured on EuroSport channel, and he was the biggest fraud 'champion' I've ever seen. Even when he lost, he won

    I quite agree with you.Ottke was a very good fighter.Sure,he beat some good names in his relatively impressive career,but he also had some pretty close fights which could have gone either way.

    Ottke deserves respect for his long reign,but he never looked really convincing against top opposition.He was a feather fisted runner who stole rounds and won quite a fights which could have gone either way.

    Anyway! Ottke was a very good fighter,but no all time great.
    Assuming Joe beats Kessler he for sure deserves the status of an all time great.The same cant be really said about Ottke.

    Sven Ottke was a cheating f***ing c**t. You could always tell when he was up against a superior opponent, he would start playing up to the ref, grizzling about low blows, rabbit punches, jabs, hooks etc. Decisions that "could have gone either way" were sure signs that Ottke got beat.
    Towards the end of his career he would barely throw any punches the whole fight, that confident he was of getting the win.
