I logged on a few minutes before 12pm to buy Froch/Groves tickets.

I finally get throught at 12:03pm to find that there are NO floor sits available. Load of bollocks!

I logged on at exactly 12:00 on the dot and chose 4 lower tier 110 tickets and there were all gone after about 5 seconds. It's bollocks mate. Touts use bots to log on faster than humanly possible and take all the seats before anyone has time to react. and now the site has crashed...

Wanted £60 Tier seats, same as you got on 12:03, let me select a couple of options, but then said not available

Managed to get couple of £40 tickets pretty central............well i think I did.........
the website kept crashing during the payment stage !!

Same thing went on with the first fight, Ticket sites buy the majority via bots, Hearn and the rest claim its 'sold out' in 11 minutes...in actual fact there are thousands available but via ticketmaster and other sites/companies.

By "bots" I presume you mean some sort of computer driven algorithm?

I haven't tried to log on to the specific site but don't you usually get some non sensical random generated 6-8 alpha numeric thingy which you've got to type in to prove you aint no 'bot?

all they need a bot to do is select a block and number of tickets and hit 'buy tickets' once the hit that the tickets are on reserve and a human can complete the transaction.

That's a pretty good option for a local bod.

When the Champions League final was at Hampden in 2002, between Bayer Leverkusen and Real Madrid, I wandered around the stadium for probably about an hour and a half before the KO, asking various sellers for their price, and I got a face value ticket in with the G*rries, with about five minutes to spare.
I was sitting just in line with THAT Zidane goal :happy
