No shame in Ituama losing...

    I have to admit I thought this was good matchmaking. I felt like he needed opponents he wouldnt be able to blitz through so that he can learn to fight in a manner thats less reliant on his power. A ponderous opponent like Filip seemed good to me because he doesnt have dynamic power, hes not fast, he shouldnt be winning too many rounds on fight mechanics, so I felt it was a case of Moses will win early rounds, and then get in a tough fight down the stretch where he would learn a lot, get the win and move forward having learned a lot more then blowing out who they could have given him, in 2 or 3 rounds.

    But I misgauged how badly his ring generalship and stamina would really be. Youre right that ultimately this opponent was too early for him.

    Now everyone will overrate Hrgovic off the back of this. The way people are trashing Itauma right now you'd think he got stopped in 2 rounds.

    Ah the cycle of boxing. Love to see it.

    He was inexperienced... he's just 21 ... he's just a baby.... give me a break! Even Joshua from his first 5 fights would have clobbered him! Confidence in boxing is vital.... the momentum is gone... so has the hype.... I don't see the similarities with him and Dubois... He isn't on that level... Joyce hit Dubois with the kitchen sink, and crushed his eye! Moses goes down with a gust of wind!!

    Hrgovic isn't a particularly devastating puncher but when you're so exhausted you're bouncing around the ring like a rubber man it doesn't take much to send you into orbit, that was not a good look at all compared to the hype machine they had built around him. Hrgovic is a good fighter though everybody knows what he does and they didn't stop him doing it in the end.
