I agree but people on this board think that Cotto quit, they obviously didn't see the brutal beating he took and the corner throw in the towel.
Shows just how discusting some people can be when they want someone to lose.They got what they wanted yet it obviously doesnt satisfy.They want to completly tear someone down.
I think it's fair to say that Cotto was a bit overrated. He was the overwhelming favorite, and he got beat down and stopped. Quite simply put, Cotto couldn't opperate at a high level under pressure and folded. The greats ones are supposed to be able to perform better than that under pressure. With that being said, he's still relatively young. He can still come back from this and learn from his mistakes.
Take about 3 inches off of Margo and it would be a different fight. Margo is just a HUGE relentless WW.

Plenty of people have fought guys that are much bigger than them and they won. They're both WWs, the size difference doesn't cut it.

Cotto didnt disappoint anyone. He fought his heart out and went out like a champion. He fought the perfect fight. Margarito just wasnt going anywhere. He wanted it more.
Great, how about we give Cotto more punching power while we're at it. That would've helped as well. Maybe if had a better chin it would be a different fight. Fact is, he's not taller. Even being that much shorter than Margo, he still has what it takes to beat him. And he could've beaten Margo. Had he been able to fight effectively for one more round, he wins that fight.
