Frank Warren wrote in The Sun:
When Joe signed with me he couldn’t afford to pay his mortgage. But over 12 long, hard, but successful years, I helped make him into a multi-millionaire..
Yet until he beat Jeff Lacy and finally began to believe in himself, one person and one person alone afflicted his career: Joe Calzaghe.

He would pull out of fights at short notice for reasons he felt were valid. But it left me to sort out the mess with opponents furious and TV execs pulling their hair out.

Once I had to pay opponents cash up front before they would sign a contract because they were afraid of going through weeks of training camps for nothing if he pulled out.

I lost $100,000 to Glen Johnson when Joe pulled out of a world-title fight ,with him for a second time. This the same Johnson who KO’d Jones four years ago.'

So Joe ran away from Johnson,Johnson koed Roy,Joe wants Roy..Joe has already had this fight post poned but if this fight happens make your own judgements.

So what do you think of Joe now?

Apparently Showtime nicknamed Joe Calzaghe 'No Show Joe ' because he never used to show up.Joe always wanted no ranked opponents and used to clash with TV stations when they vetoed his decision.

We have always known about Joe and his fake injuries. And now call him a legend?

That was a different Johnson, remember he beat Woods back then, and Koed Roy,ever wondered why Joe pulled out twice.

Sour grapes but this is true.

Just sour grapes from him. He doesn't actually go into the details of why he pulled out of the Johnson one.

A messy divorce whilst trying to prepare for a world title fight is not good he did the right thing.

And don't forget we are talking Glen ****ing Johnson here. Has absolutely nothing that Joe hadn't seen before and would have boxed his years off all night. Anyone who thinks Calzaghe ducked Johnson is an idiot.

Obviously your not aware of Warrens newspaper rants about all the fighters that have left him over the years. He's become seriously bitter recently.

Woods beat him once, and that was a razer thin decision. Johnson definately won their first two fights.

So there is an example of Joe avoiding ONE fighter, and no mention he was in the middle of a divorce at the time and had broken his hand. FFS.

Doesn't Frank do this after every top fighter leaves him? Publish some negative rant, mostly gossip, because he is a bit pissed of about a revenue stream being cut off?

Frank's stable is looking pretty empty now, maybe he should stop to think why.
