No sparring allowed at PCYC clubs?

Just to reflect on what I've read here, I find it so disappointing.

I don't mean to bore anyone with a "way back when" but it's worth the risk about the history.
In the early 50's, we had a free bus provided. A big ******* as well.

As luck would have it. It's route started 50 metres from my house in suburban Warrawong. It took us to the Police "citizens" boys club Nth Wollongong. It took off at 6PM & returned us home at 10. All free.

There were only about 10-12 regular kids, & over the two & a half years I went, it sometimes got down to just 2 or 3 of us, but the bus always done the route.

I remember there was a visit by some collar & tie goose.
The big no-nonsense Sarge that oversaw "discipline" told us that he wanted to see us do multiple sports. We went from boxing to wrestling to gymnastics then back to vigorous rope & bag work.
It nearly killed us but we had to put on a show for the visitor even though most of us were just there for the boxing.

The visitor says to the Sarge "Is this all the kids you have? the bus may be a waste of money"
He says, "These are school kids. they don't get home until 10 O'clock yet they still come. Do you know how much it costs to lock one of them up?"
The collar & tie recoiled.

The club made money with the Saturday night dance. The G'ment subsidised the rest.
Years later, with the advent of the little Nip buses, the local head of the now PCYC told me "The harder we work to raise money, the less we get off the government"

We used to pay him to take us to the football in Sydney. He drove the bus for nothing & the club got the funds.

Ever since some maggot introduced "User pays", & it hit the youth clubs, street Kids futures took a nose dive, & the maggots dropped that baby in the lap of the lawyers.

They're shameless ivory towered ****s.

No Ty you are not on the same planet as everybody else - no-one who "owns" a bloke by hacking his FB page then runs snivelling to mods when a bloke has a laugh at his expense by putting up a certain avitar is not on the same planet as everybody else!

 

Thats a pretty mean statement. Ty is a very, very, very well mannered citizen. He treats people with great respect and looks UP to everyone... he has to... he's only 4' 3"....

I know that you are a simple person (I could not bring myself to use the term man in regards to you) and of limited intelligence and education Ty, but I don't think the occasional post in your direction really qualifies as stalking in anyone's language

 

No wonder why he's got such a big bark. Its like those little mexican dogs, those annoying lil' ankle biter dogs---my sister has one of 'em. Lil' bugger.

Anyhow, who's being stalked?

 

I once put you in contact with someone very high up in PCYC after you had abused him and put **** on him on the internet, and all you could do was further burn the bridge upon personal contact. What makes you think anyone below him in the organisation would take you seriously in an way after that?

What makes you think PCYC wants anything to do with a trainer who would instruct his fighter to kick his opponent in a boxing match...as you did?
