thank u i have been saying this for ages now...like u dont establish urself on P4P and ATG lists and suddenly become scared of people, as a competitor u want to knock the best off to prove how good u r...maybe its because some people never competed in sports before, but i played basketball growing up, and i would be damned if id be scared of another player or team i was goin against

 

that's why we love the sport - to see Duran take on the amazing unbeaten Leonard in Montreal and put on a performance of the ages.

to see Buster do what he did to Tyson overcoming any fear, to box a masterpiece.

to see Leoanrd overcome the unbeaten beast Hearns from the brink.

this is what makes boxing, overcoming fear and making magic.

this is why people hate the lil bugger Floyd who always finds way to duck the best with excuses, but he got forced into it this time. he had no leverage to weasel out to fight matt hatton. so we could see magic tonight.

I agree that boxers are not physically scared of other fighters. I've seen regular everyday people who have little or no fear so I'm assuming that these tough guys who fight for a living are at least that brave. I think that a boxers handlers might be "scared" or "smart" for them. And this is still not fear fear of physical harm but rather fear of loss of future revenue.
