Not saying I dont WANT to watch (both are my fav`s to watch right now), Im saying that I REFUSE because what both men are allowing to happen is unforgivable.

people are going to pay to see Pacquiao vs. Malignaggi and Mayweather vs. Matthew Hatton? Are you out of your mind? These fighters and promoters must really think that boxing fans are fukkin morons. :patsch Arum is a complete scumbag for even trying to imply that he would force Pacquiao/Malignaggi down fight fans throats. To me that is the ultimate slap in the face.

Pac vs Malignaggi is a **** fight but I would probably still head to a bar to watch it. Bottom line its the JrWW champ against a top5 ranked JrWW contender.

And I would pay for Pac vs Bradley in a heartbeat. No doubt. Wouldn't miss it even if you paid me.

I would also pay for Floyd vs Mosley, Berto, Cotto, Clottey, or even Margarito. In a heartbaet

Pac fans knew Pac is not guilty of wrongdoing in the sport so we will support him all the way. i dont know about floyd, he hasn't fought any meaningful fights in a while. yes, manny fought oscar and hatton too and they are not quality opponents that is why they were dispose of quick and easy.

Then you're part of the problem and the reason these scumbag promoters feel that they don't need to do everything possible to give fans the fights they want to see.

Can you imagine this in any other sport??? It would be like two teams reaching the final of the World Cup and then deciding that they couldn't agree on terms, so they just say fukk it and don't play the game and instead just play a 4th or 5th place team in separate contests. Or the NFL cancelling the Superbowl because the two team owners couldn't agree on advertising money. The fans of those sports would revolt like you wouldn't believe. So why don't boxing fans??

All those fights you mentioned except for Pac vs Malignaggi are great fights that people including me wanna see. But I'm still not gonna pay to watch those fights until they fight each other. I maybe 1 person not buying their fights but I still count.

I agree with the TS here...it is no different than the Hockey strike of 2004...it will have the same result in boxing.

Bingo! And the baseball strike of 1994. Looking back on it now, nobody remembers who was at fault, the players or the owners, they just remember that the SPORT royally fukked itself and that it took year and years for baseball to build back it's legitimacy. It will be the same thing with boxing. History will view it as a stain on both fighters, the entire sport, and it will have a long lasting effect on both of their careers. When baseball resumed in 1995, attendance and ratings were WAY down. It will be exactly the same for Mayweather and Pacquiao fights if this fight doesn't get done.

This is the equivalent of a strike situation in boxing.

i hear your argument, but i'm under the impression that neither fighter NEEDS the other. sure its a fight that the public would love to see, but they've accomplished enough to cement their legacies in the sport. i think the pac vs paulie fight is one of the worst fights to be made at this point and would never pay to see it. however if floyd signs to fight, lets say...pwill on the same night as pac vs paulie, then PBF vs PW would be mine and everyone elses 1st choice to watch.

ppl kill me saying floyd is boring and hasnt fought a meaningful fight in a while. his last 3 fights were JMM, RH, and DLH and he knocked out RH. and in the case of PBF, just b/c he were disposed of them easily (the DLH fight was the most competitive) doesnt mean they were not quality opponents. it just shows how good PBF is. and dont give me JMM was too small, b/c last i checked he and pac have the same body type. if that is the case, then why do ppl want to see PBF vs pac?

I love the fact that this fight ain't happening. I just don't get how you can go from Mayweather to Malignaggi. F#ck man, if you're going to fight, fight someone legit - Bradley or Williams.
