1987...Tyrell Biggs unbeaten 15-0 wins over Tillis Simm Snipes Bey..fights for the crown v Berbick.
Mikey not around as he's in the clink for ***ual transgressions already.
How does the title fight go and what evolves from there.

Biggs didn't reach 15-0 until around mid 1987. Berbick won the title from Thomas I believe in early 1986. I have doubts about Berbick holding on to the WBC for a full year and a half. Its more likely that those guys run into either Smith, Tucker or Spinks before they met each other.. In any case, I can't picture a world where Tyrell Biggs becomes heavyweight champion. He just wasn't made for being on top of the mountain. Had they actually fought, I'd pick Trevor Berbick to win one way or another. Biggs was starting to fall apart at the seems which is precisely why the Duvas dumped him immediately following the Tyson bout.

Biggs was still with the Duvas a year later when he fought Damiani in Italy.
There are so many myths about Tyrell...ie he was a 'coke head' which is why the duvas dumped him etc...Ty went into rehab at the end of 1984..after 1 pro fight..drugs were not an issue after...look at the condition he turned up in for fights...hardly looked like an out of shape druggie.
He was in great shape v damiani lost on a cut....put up a great show versus Bowe after a run of 4 wins including over Marin and Occasio.....hardly a man 'falling apart' Mr Magoo ?
Thanks for your response tho....you are probably right about the time frame..i was just speculating how Ty would have fared had Tyson not been on his radar.
