No U.S. Television for Haye-Ruiz?!

Remember Dan Rafael's article? He said US TV executives (HBO in particular) were extremely pissed off by how Haye ran from Wlad last year on extremely short notice.

Then came the Valuev stinker.

It may take years for Haye to rebuild confidence and excitement among the US TV companies.

 

Will RTL show this fight? They should hype bouth between Klitschko and winner!

 

Over here its on PPV. I dont mind paying for fights but aint buying this crap. HQ stream for me.

 

I thought Haye was the huge draw and all? How is this not on US TV against a former American World Champion? This must be a mistake.

Heavyweight boxing is dead in the states. The only way that the US will ever show a heavyweight championship fight again is if someone wants to fight the corpse of Mike Tyson.

...Or for some reason, Chris Arreola, who must have some sort of incriminating evidence against Jim Lampley. Becuse I have no idea why HBO has a hard on for this suckish Pillsbury dough man.

Quick questions, is there an earliest time boxing can be shown in the states ? Think the fights on about 10 here so that'll be 6pm on the east coast in the us

I'm just talking about actually televising fights. It does not matter where the fighters are from. It seems the US no longer shows heavyweight title fights.
