1. Floyd cheated Pac. Period. Whatever he was masking is up for debate. But there was no other reason for the saline drips. Anybody who doesn't understand this is either stupid or immature.

2. Pac has always been under the microscope because 1. he is a freak of nature, and 2. the Mayweathers spread a humor, was brought to court about it, and subsequently lost. That's it. Nobody suspected anything until Pac became a legitimate threat to Floyd. Pac's walking weight is around JrMW. He's a legit WW now, but you can argue he'll be a beast at 140, and can even stretch his campaign to 135 (though at this age is probably a tad difficult). Has he never touched a PED all his career? I doubt that.

3. If there's somebody who needs prescription meds here to mask pain from injuries that could make him fail a VADA test, it's the injury-ridden Thurman. Pac just doesn't care about it. I think Pac sincerely believes he can beat Thurman and doesn't want to kill the mega fight, in the same way that he fought handicapped against Floyd (shoulder injury) and heck even Broner (flu). I think Pac really wants to fight Spence, but sees Thurman as a decent, cashable fight that he can overcome anyway and build more interest for a Pac-Spence fight. Pac LOVES taking "0s". He always talk about that in the local news. Thurman fits the bill. Should Pac fight Spence? HELL NO. It has KTFO written all over it. But Pac is Pac. Dude's gonna go out of this sport swinging that's for sure, like the other greats before him.

Precisely my thoughts. Thurman has been riddled w/ injuries and I'm sure that he's used a lot of powerful prescription painkillers. And you're spot on. Pacquiao simply doesn't care. That's why he didn't give a flying **** when Ariza went to Rios and then Floyd. If Ariza had been juicing him up, he'd do everything he could to keep Ariza on the team and make sure that he's happy. Pacquiao didn't care when Roach broke camp to train someone else for a little bit. I think it was Khan or Linares.
