This should disqualify the winner from P4P rankings

So Mickey denied VADA testing, and Spence didn't push for it.

But Canelo is such a terrible cheater for eating some contaminated meat. At least he's enrolled in VADA. One thing we know for sure, you won't ever pop if you're not getting tested.

No excuse for this not to be VADA tested. Poor, really.

What's worse : Popping for trace amounts of clenbuterol with a high likelihood of meat contamination or fighting while not being enrolled in drug testing at all?

Everybody loves to jump all over fighters who pop when it's not even clear if they really intentionally cheated. With that mindset, then how can you even allow yourself to watch a fight when there's no drug testing?

Will you support this fight knowing that Spence has refused VADA testing?

It's so ridiculous that Canelo was suspended for 6 months for something that wasn't even his fault but other fights like Spence can just not be tested at all. You'll never pop if you don't get tested so in the court of public opinion until Spence proves he's clean I guess we have to assume he's juiced to the gills. Every time someone brings up Canelo getting suspended we need to compare him to Spence who refuses to enroll in VADA.

And this is hard for me because I like Spence as a fighter but with all the negativity that was directed at Canelo you have to hold Spence to the same standard. And this day and age in the court of public opinion not being enrolled in VADA is just unacceptable and should be viewed as on par or worse than popping.

If MikeyMis smart then this helps him more than Spence. He should hire Mackie shilstone ASAP or maybe even Lee Haney if he wants to be really blatant about it.
Everybody already thinks Spence is the guy who doesn't want the testing so if Mikey shows up jacked he won't be suspected or atleast won't be blamed.

It will even up the size differential(Spence's big advantage) to a large extent.

This fight just got even more interesting.

And I get the feeling that most fans won't even care if they are both jacked to the gills. You know fans will still support and watch the fight after making a stink storm about Canelo popping. All that virtue signaling of Canelo but now I bet no one will care if both Spence and Mikey are allowed to be jacked the gills. Ridiculous.

I just want to see if Spence will get questioned about it by the media. How would this fight be allowed to happen after everything we've seen with what happened to Canelo and even BJS to an extent?

in the golden era nobody was tested and the fights were great so who cares.

It really is just virtue signalling. We didn't care during the cold war because we had to beat the Soviets in sports but now all of a sudden it's a big no no, yet if you go look at the pictures of our heros fighting and you're honest with yourself 80+% of our favorite fighters had bodies that would be highly suspect today, some were way bigger than natural bodybuilders of the same height supposedly without touching a single weight.....get out of here

I tend to agree with what you're saying. I mean, I wasn't one of the people virtue signaling Canelo. But when BJS popped I just pointed out the hypocrisy. And now with Spence not even enrolling, again we need to hold fighters to the same standard. If you are going to criticize a fighter for popping, then how can you support a fight without drug testing at all?

It makes no sense, and you're right that in the golden era nobody was tested and the fighters were great so no one cared. But we've seen so many GGG fans who made it their mantra to care about the Canelo situation. I just want to see where are those people now. How much will they care about Spence not being tested. I guess we'll find out. I'm just looking for consistency from these people. You can't have your cake and eat it too.

Unfortunately you can't expect consistency from many fans here. They only care when it benefits their favorite fighters

Looks poor on Spence. Basically giving the go ahead for people to say he's a doper with fair reasoning. He'll be held under high suspicion going forward and will be brought up every fight.

He already has an advantage in size and now doesn't want to test.

I find it hard to believe that there will be no drug testing for this fight.
