That's the other thing. He already had a massive size advantage, which makes him refusing testing even worse! (if in fact he has refused testing) I find it hard to believe too, especially after what we've been through over the last year with Canelo and BJS and how many fans continue to bring all that up.
So who said no? The A side? Which one is the A side? In this day and age it shouldnt even be up for debate, especially at the level these guys are fighting at. Im a big Spence fan but ive heard hes got out of drug testing on a number of occasions now. Whats he hiding?
Possible... idunno. Thought Garcia was the bigger name here as he accomplished a lot more. Whoever came up with that a-side/b-side in boxing (with or without the addition of the word "meth"), should be locked up and beaten every single day with both the a and the b side of a spiked baseball bat.
Since it's being billed as Spence-Garcia, does that mean that Spence is the A-side and he's the one who rejected VADA?
I think that would be Floyd Mayweather Jr. who introduced the A-side / B-side vernacular into the sport.
I don't know but if that's the case and if there isn't VADA testing for this fight I expect you to hold Spence's feet to the fire even more than you did to Canelo. You can't pop if you don't get tested.
Spence is big for the weight and I am convinced to cut that weight and maintain strength and endurance he does have some assistance. It's just not natural not too. He ran from the WBC ranking when Bradley was champ and went sideways I always found that suspicious when we all knew Bradley wasn't going to be around long.
That's a good point. And on the pbc website it's "Spence vs. Garcia". http://www.premierboxingchampions.com/fight-night-march-16-2019 As well as the words: "IBF Welterweight Champion Errol Spence Jr will defend his title against ...".
