I think Kostya's style is all wrong for Chavez. Chavez is not like Hatton, 2 pressure fighters but still completely different. Hatton is physically very strong and could rough, muscle Kostya around. I dont think Chavez is as strong as Kostya, Kostya himself is very strong and will probably be the one muscling Chavez around.

 

WHAT! ARE YOU SERIOUS? In my mind there is no doubt that JCC would f*** Tszyu to pieces. JCC in his prime was an animal. Then again you are just tripping.

Kostya couldn't muscle around a B level fighter in Phillips. I think if he met someone who wouldn't stop coming, and could crack as well, his calm demeanor would start to slip a bit. Chavez was probably as strong, I don't think Tszyu showed much to make me believe he was stronger than Chavez. Also, Tszyu's game is all about finding the range and timing his punches, so against someone as relentless as Chavez(and that WOULD be his strategy in a fight with an opponent like this, similar to how he came out against Rosario) I think his ability to create the space and timing opportunities would be less effective. A pressure fighter is about the worst possible matchup for someone who relies on timing to land a big shot(without the use of movement).
