    Perfect excuse for Billy Nelson.

Couldn't have worked out better for him. He'll continue to talk **** on the forums knowing Ricky has dodged a massive bullet.

I think he will drop down to light welterweight against Lamont Peterson and try and dominate the division to stay away from some of the other fighters.

I would imagine he would want to pick up a belt at Light Welter, not sure which route he would take though.

He might have no other option but to go back to LW.

Who else is he beating at 140 or 147 thats relevant?

No one pal, debatable wether he even won this one, he was so lazy. Paulie on a better day (like the senchenko day I think it was) would have bust broner to bits convincingly. Shame he didn't have the same snap last night.

  10. Broner carried malignaggi

Why I don't know but when he lets his hands go he is still very impressive

It was one fight up 2 weight divisions, they were testing the water

I agree with you, he just had trouble landing cleanly on him. I had a feeling Malignaggi might cause him some stylistic problems.

Any decent fighter at 147 stops Broner.

although Broner didnt look quite as good as everyone expected he still beat a great technician at welter weight and beat him he did in a tight fight. I doubt he will come back to lightweight i think he is to big for the weight and the bigger pays days are at 140-147 anyway. If he did manage to drop back to lightweight i still dont see the Burns fight happening although i think Burns is a good fighter i dont think he has the style that causes Broner troubles in that he is not a mover
