a couple of more contenders for you guy. First up is Morrison-Ruddock, and look at the way Ruddock's body hits the mat. (Tune in around 1:20)

And of course, the famous Holmes-Shavers knockdown in their second bout. (2:20)

And then you have the flip side of that in the second bout, when Gatti hit Ward with the hardest shot Gatti ever threw (with Ward walking right into it, no less) and Ward somehow got up and made it through despite Gatti jumping all over him right afterward. (Fast forward to about 4:40, then give it a couple of seconds).

Ah how did I forget that one of their matches. Probably because I'm a Gatti fan.

 at Foreman getting upset with Merchant about the age comment.

Robinson Cuesta is now one of my boxing heroes.
To my shame, I've never heard of him before.

I'm unsure of the wisdom of the referee allowing it to continue though after that first knockdown. Those falls where the head bounces like that on the canvas can be serious.

Letterlough's third kd of Julio Gonzalez is pretty comprehensive, with Julio faling hard onto his back and looking completely out of it for a moment before he manages to drag himself back to his feet. Incredibly, he would go on to drop Letterlough the very next round and win the decision.

    Pedro "Nine Count" Agosto.

    He showed great heart.

Strangely his record shows he was KO'd in 1 round by a 3-0 Leon Spinks just a few months later. Maybe Spinks hit him with something he didn't see coming. Or maybe Pedro was just up for the Foreman fight. I dont know if the Spinks one was televised.
Some of these guys have a ton of pride and heart when they know family, friends or their community are watching.

Hearns against Kinchen. He was almost out on his feet in round 4 and he managed to hold on even to Mills Lane and regroup and win the fight by decision. Showed his tremendous heart.

Believe it or not, Cuevas beat the count on that Hearns mega blast. & was game to continue until his corner threw in the towel.
