Also anyone that thinks Floyd is the goat at 135 in front of Duran deserves to get shot.

 

Funny thing is, NO ONE thinks he is the GOAT at 135 except a few dumb shits here. Floyd's best case for being the GOAT in a weight calss is 130, and i THOUGHT everyone knew that. Especially his most ardent ddefenders.

I think i would have to put Ward ahead of him now, simply because he fought the best competition available.

Floyd is too inactive and not fighting the best out there.

There are better fights out there for him between 147 and 154 but that topic has been done to death.

It was looking that way, and the S6 got Ward into and up the ranks pretty quickly, but it's stagnated since he beat Froch. Dawson at 168, Totally washed up Pavlik (a fight that was signed) and now entertaining Chavez, Jr. isn't going to over take Floyd.

 

Wards s6 achievements still easily eclipses Floyds career over the last 5 years.
Does not matter if it stagnated for a little when Floyds career hasn't moved all that time.

You can't fight 1 time a year tops vs questionable competition and expect to just stay nr1 by default because noone has beaten you.

I don't even care much about Ward but i rate him ahead of Floyd.
Hell i find it harder and harder to justify keeping Floyd in the top 5.

H2h ability and who you "could" have beaten don't count for me, wins byproxy because someone else has beaten the people you should have do not count for me either.
