Marquez loses to boxers.....I even think at this age in his twilight
he'd outfox Rios. Acosta lasted quite a while before folding, everyone
    knows Marquez would never fold....

JMM has too much skill for Rios. Yes Rios is not a face first brawler but the mistakes he makes would be met with hard counter punchers. That is how Acosta was able to hurt him. In between his punches. JMM will wait for Rios to throw his then counter him with a sick 3-5 punch combo eventually stopping him.

Acosta also did more than last...He was outgunned, and still won a majority of the rounds fought. Acosta's speed is below par for a world class fighter, and he doesn't punch like Marquez.

I think Marquez eats Rios, to be honest. He's a terrific young champion, but far from a great fighter as of yet. He needs some more top flight challenges before taking on a pound for pounder.

Marquez counters the crap out of him. Rios has a very good chin, but he can be hurt and when Marquez hurts him, he'll follow up. I could see a late TKO

People are treating Rios like a juggernaught. He's very good, but his defense needs work and he's been hurt several times. He's tough, he's strong, he's brutal, and oozes potential, but if a power puncher drills him in the chin like Marquez can, he's gonna feel it.

I disagree. I think Rios/Soto could go either way tbh. Coin flip.

I think Marquez outclasses Rios. He might get KD once or twice but he's too skilled for Rios.
